PUTTING THE PLANET AND ALL ITS INHABITANTS FIRST:

RE-DESIGNING GLOBAL GOVERNANCE:

FROM DEMOCRACY TO INTER-DEPENDENT ECO-SYSTEM STEWARDSHIP

It is time to reinvent governance and create an entirely new form of social and environmental organization that puts the planet and all it inhabitants first.

The role of governance is to ensure the health and vitality of the human and non-human environment it governs. Anything else is a betrayal of people and planet. Our democratically elected governments have not only failed to ensure health of people and planet, they are systematically damaging it beyond repair.

"How do we extricate ourselves from institutionalized systems that have abused their power and how do we as global citizens restore sanity, balance and life to ourselves and the planet?"

"From false political promises and rigid ideologies to manipulative advertising, the lying virus is fostering an increasingly insane and imbalanced world. Uncertainty as to the truth of what we are being told by media or external authorities severely impedes our ability to navigate safely in the world and to make healthy choices for ourselves and the environment."

"...we also have to break down the psychological walls that have encouraged us from childhood to outsource our authority, morality and responsibility for our own body and soul and for our shared environment and destiny to a multitude of experts working from fragmented perspectives. The transition required is not only one of external form of governance, but one that addresses the psychological experience of personal authority, external authority and mutual accountability."

"The democratic system of voting for single representative once every few years, with limited perspectives and vested interests, on the basis of narrow platforms, false promises and sectorial interests, and who gain power on a small majority win creates a very false illusion of citizen representation in government."
